mayor
1 Candidate, elected at-large, to serve a Four Year Term
The mayor is the only executive in borough government elected by people. The mayor does not vote on legislative matters except when to break a tie. The mayor can veto an ordinance passed by council. The mayor attends and participates in all meetings of council, and from time to time reports to council on the state of the borough.

Borough Council has three primary duties. Council passes legislation covering governmental functions such as health, fire and police protection, and taxation. Council adopts all ordinances include zoning, flood plain, and traffic/parking issues. Council also sets the fee schedule for the borough including construction permits and trash removal.
tax collector

The Tax Collector is the municipal officer designated to collect municipal and school real estate and personal taxes levied under the municipal codes and in most cases county real estate and personal taxes.
school board
5 Candidates, elected at-large, to serve a Four Year Term
The School Board is the governing authority which oversees the functioning of the district. They adopt the district’s annual budget, levy local taxes, and adopt the curriculum. School Board also approves the hiring and compensation of personnel and appoints the Superintendent to manage the day-to-day operations of the district.
judge of elections
4 Candidates, 1 per voting district, to serve a Four Year Term
There is one Judge of Elections per voting place. The Judge of Elections is responsible for receiving the ballot box from the County the weekend before the Election, for swearing in Election Officers at the beginning of Election Day, for overseeing the conduct of the Election, and for making a determination when a question arises. You can only be elected to the office of Judge of Elections in your voting district.
inspector of elections
4 Candidates, 1 per voting district, to serve a Four Year Term
There are two Inspectors of Elections per polling place, one from each party, who assist the Judge of Elections on Election Day. The person who wins the election will be the Majority Inspector, the other candidate will be the Minority Inspector. You can only be elected to the office of Inspector of Elections in your voting district.
