Currently the Hatboro Borough Council is only one party;  As such, alternate views can be dismissed, consciously or unconsciously, due to a lack of key checks and balances.  

A diverse government allows extensive dialogue to occur as policies are being considered and written, long before they are brought up for a vote.

Balanced governance will enable the Council to better engage with our citizens and business owners to craft policies in which all interested voices are represented and heard.
